Nothing is written until a person opens the upload, fixes anything highlighted and confirms the rows they accept. Confirmed prices join that vendor's catalog with the date they take effect.

Upload
On Vendor pricing, choose the vendor and upload the price list as a PDF or a screenshot.

Read
AI reads every page and proposes rows, matched to your existing items. Anything unclear is highlighted.

Review
Press Open, fill in anything highlighted, then confirm the rows you accept.

Use
Confirmed prices are dated. Job lines linked to that item show a Newer price chip, and Refresh cost takes the new price.
Questions
Price list questions
- Does the AI change our costs on its own?
- No. It only proposes rows. A person confirms every row before it enters the catalog.
- We keep our costs in a spreadsheet. Can we use it?
- Yes. Cost settings has a workbook template you can edit and import, with a full preview and a rollback of the latest batch.
- Does a new vendor price change our quotes?
- No. It changes expected cost on lines linked to that item when you press Refresh cost. Press Recalculate if you also want to update the client price.
