- Who is Silhouette Suite for?
- Design studios and retailers that sell custom window treatments, workrooms and fabricators that make them, and businesses that do both.
- What can it quote?
- Drapery (pleated and ripplefold), roman shades, valances, mock romans and cornices, pillows and cushions, upholstery, rework and hourly work, plus purchased goods and installation.
- Will the quotes match our shop?
- The drapery, roman shade and valance formulas were checked against a working workroom's quoting sheet, and your labor, liner, add-on and wood rates are your own settings.
- Does AI set our prices?
- No. Prices come from your rates and the calculator every time. Coco can explain a quote, but it cannot change one.
- What does Coco do?
- It answers questions about the page you are on, fills in forms for you to check, sorts client emails into job notes and drafts messages.
- Do we have to use the CRM?
- No. The CRM is set per company. Without it, jobs start from Create a project by hand.
- How do vendor costs get in?
- Upload a price list as a PDF or a screenshot and confirm the rows, import your spreadsheet with a preview and rollback, or type a cost on the line.
- Can we see profit before the job is finished?
- Yes. Each job's Costs tab shows estimated profit as costs are entered. Reports count actual margin once costs are closed out.
- Does it take card payments?
- It records every payment you receive, however the client pays, and keeps the deposit, balance and receipts on the job.
- Can a studio and a workroom work together?
- Yes. Each runs its own company. Linked companies share work orders and the workroom's quoted price, while each keeps its own costs, markup and margin.
- Is our data kept separate?
- Yes. Every record belongs to a company, and the database enforces the separation on every read and write.
- Can we connect our own AI assistant?
- Yes. Assistants that support the Model Context Protocol, such as Claude, can look up your jobs and orders with your own permissions. Access is read-only.
- How long does it take to learn?
